- ➤ Cedar Valley Crimestoppers said police and fire crews responded at 10:42 a.m. Monday morning to a shooting along West 4th Street near Denver Street in Waterloo and found a man unresponsive in a driveway who was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead. KWWL

Kim Reynolds secured wins for her legislative agenda with bills to restrict cell phones in schools, boost rural health care funding, enforce hands-free driving, cut unemployment taxes, and provide disaster aid and paid parental leave—however, her proposed energy and child care measures stalled.
