- ➤ Cedar Valley Crimestoppers said police and fire crews responded at 10:42 a.m. Monday morning to a shooting along West 4th Street near Denver Street in Waterloo and found a man unresponsive in a driveway who was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead. KWWL
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Gov. Kim Reynolds secured wins for her legislative agenda with bills to restrict cell phones in schools, boost rural health care funding, enforce hands-free driving, cut unemployment taxes, and provide disaster aid and paid parental leave—however, her proposed energy and child care measures stalled.
