EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Waterloo firefighters Deric Kieler and Lucas Mortensen received the 2025 Greg Freshwater Memorial Scholarship for paramedic training at Hawkeye Community College. The scholarship (established in 2017) honors firefighter Greg Freshwater and will grow into an endowment to support EMS training for future first responders. KWWL
