- ➤ Waterloo Regional Airport reached its highest passenger numbers since May 2019—monthly boardings neared 2,000 after a year of expanded services and strategic investments that included new flight schedules and a larger aircraft from American Airlines. The upgrade has attracted travelers from over 400 U.S. ZIP codes and strengthened ALO’s role as an Eastern Iowa travel hub. KWWL
