GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Iowa families have been without full SNAP benefits for two weeks due to the government shutdown—over 130,000 households have been affected as the Northeast Iowa Food Bank has seen a 25% rise in demand. Barb Prather warned that even if the government reopens, funding will only be secured through January, leaving many at risk. KWWL
