EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Waterloo Housing Authority will launch a free home buyer education course on November 13 at the Waterloo Center for the Arts with four two-hour sessions. Participants will learn about managing finances, credit, and buying a home and must complete all sessions to earn a certificate (registration is limited to the first 30 applicants with proof of income). REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ Waterloo city council unanimously approved a $57M plan to convert the historic Black's Building into a national-brand hotel, apartments, and commercial space. JSA Development will announce the hotel brand in two to three months + aims to revitalize the nearly empty 1914 structure. KWWL
