- ➤ Waterloo Development Corporation broke ground on the Cedar Valley CourtWorks facility, a 100000 square foot building with volleyball and basketball courts to cut travel for local families—supporting sports tourism and launching the Raise Our Game campaign. Located on the TechWorks campus near the John Deere Museum, the facility will open in early March 2027 and is expected to generate $10–15 million in annual economic impact. KWWL
- ➤ The Waterloo Development Corporation broke ground Tuesday morning on the Cedar Valley CourtWorks facility—a 100,000-square-foot youth sports complex on the TechWorks campus near the John Deere Museum that will have eight basketball courts, 16 volleyball courts and areas for other tournaments. The complex will be complete early 2027 as part of the Raise Our Game campaign, which has raised $30.5 million so far and is expected to boost local economic activity. KCRG
