- ➤ Cedar Falls beat Cedar Rapids Jefferson 41-0 on senior night using a 34-point second quarter; the team, now 7-2, secured a playoff-bound win. KWWL
- ➤ Cedar Rapids Washington beat Waterloo East 76-21 today to end the season and leave Waterloo East winless. KWWL
- ➤ The Hudson Pirates won a 21-14 playoff game over the Central Springs Panthers in the Class 1A State Playoffs as QB Tade Roberts threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Gavin Gunnarson with 7:04 left in the fourth quarter. Roberts ran for two early touchdowns and the Pirates defense forced a late fumble — key plays that helped secure the victory. KWWL
