- ➤ Queen of Peace Church in downtown Waterloo faces a crumbling ceiling that forced services to move to the basement after a partial collapse earlier this year—Pastor Nils Hernandez and the parish council reached out to the Archdiocese of Dubuque for immediate repairs as engineers warned that the ceiling may collapse at any time. Hernandez urged local residents to share their feedback directly with the archdiocese. KWWL
- ➤ Downtown Waterloo businesses will hand out treats at a trick-or-treat event on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon + other local businesses will join in Lincoln Park. Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier
