  • The Waterloo Community Playhouse will present 'The Three Musketeers: Youth Edition' beginning Friday — the play will use young actors to bring a classic adventure to the local stage.  Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier
  • Minneapolis-based string duo The OK Factor and award-winning Swedish quintet Jaerv will perform their program 'Traditions' on Sunday at Regent Oster Theatre in Cedar Falls—bringing a fresh musical experience to local audiences.  Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Waterloo Community Schools are adding metal detectors at Memorial Stadium for the Wahawks game against Marshalltown starting tonight to boost safety for students and fans. The district also reminded fans that the clear bag policy remains in effect and that elementary and middle school students must be accompanied by an adult.  KWWL

SPORTS NEWS

  • Waterloo Columbus scored 21 points in the final 5 minutes and 37 seconds of the second quarter to beat Aplington-Parkersburg 28—20 and tie for first in 1A District 4 with Hudson. The win kept the Sailors in a strong spot this season.  KWWL
  • West Waterloo’s Wahawks beat Marshalltown 45—13 for their third straight win and improved their record to 5—3, as reported by KWWL.  KWWL
