- ➤ The University of Northern Iowa launched its new nursing program last fall and expanded engineering majors to fill local jobs — offering a neighboring state rate that gives six bordering states in-state tuition. About 70% of UNI graduates work in Iowa, but senior Ryley Goebel said she may leave after starting her nursing career. KCRG
