- ➤ Lafayette Road in Evansdale reopened Saturday after completing a $4.8 million reconstruction that replaced 80-year-old pavement—added a bike trail and new sewers. The 2.4-mile project, which began last fall and stretches from east of Evans Road to the Elk Run Creek bridge, now eases local travel. KWWL
