- ➤ On Sunday, dozens of local golfers played at Gateway Golf Course in a charity event called Woody's Toys to raise funds and collect toys for children in need. Organizer Paul Woodward said the $80 fee covered green fees, a golf cart, lunch, and raffle entries—supporting Stead Family Children’s Hospital and Ronald McDonald House as more events are planned for the holiday season.
