- ➤ Girl Scouts received a $17,500 donation from the Max and Helen Guernsey Charitable Foundation to support an all-girl program that builds leadership, life skills and self-confidence—over 2,300 girls in Waterloo will benefit from local council events and outdoor adventures. KWWL
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Iowa Irish Fest started in Waterloo and grew into the biggest Irish festival in the Midwest, with more than two dozen bands on seven stages and tens of thousands of visitors.
