CULTURE NEWS

  • The Waterloo Center for the Arts is partnering with the Des Moines Art Center to show a Haitian art exhibition that brings unique works from Haiti to local visitors. The exhibit offers a new look at cultural art and is set to open soon.  Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier

HEALTH NEWS

  • Allen Hospital will reopen its main entrance on Logan Avenue on August 1 after closing in spring 2020 to limit COVID spread. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will mark the reopening on August 5 at noon (the hospital also offers three other public entrances with set hours).  KWWL
