- ➤ Thousands of cyclists will ride through Cedar Falls as part of the 52nd RAGBRAI event, making its first stop in the Cedar Valley in four years. Local officials say the event will feature food, vendors and a beer tent—riders will depart on July 25th and businesses hope for an economic boost similar to the 2021 stop in Waterloo. KWWL
- ➤ UnityPoint is partnering with Lost Island to hold an event on Monday (July 21) that will offer discounted theme park and waterpark tickets along with family activities focused on child safety, well-being and community engagement. Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier

- ➤ Waterloo Public Library's board of trustees appointed Sheryl McGovern as interim director on Monday after David Eckert left. The board is now searching for a permanent director to lead the library. Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier
- ➤ Drivers in Waterloo see changes to their route as construction on San Marnan Drive continues with West San Marnan closed between Kimball & Ansborough while the section from Highway 21 to Kimball remains open. Local businesses and Dr. Jim Poock of Cedar Valley Primary Care support the upgrades, which are expected to finish by fall. KWWL
