- ➤ Kevin Dill Family Fund granted over $117K to local nonprofits since 2022—supporting veterans, those with dementia or Parkinson's, and their caregivers. The fund awarded $48,600 at its fourth annual golf tournament in June to 10 organizations including Cedar Valley Hospice, and Kevin Dill remains committed to aiding the community. KWWL
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Clayton County Sheriff's Office and Medical Examiner's Office identified the body of Neven Soknic, a 41-year-old man from Waterloo reported missing on July 9 and found in the Mississippi River north of the Cassville ferry landing on July 12—investigators do not suspect foul play and await toxicology results. - ➤ Mayor Quentin Hart announced his bid for a sixth term in Waterloo to keep growth and improve services with more parks, roads, and Waterloo Fiber (the city’s largest municipally owned network).
