The Waterloo Public Library announced a schedule of events for the coming week and noted that it will be closed on Sundays until Aug.

31. Activities will include an egg carton craft workshop (Mon 12 to 1), a virtual discussion group (Mon 6 to 7), a teen board game day (Tue 1 to 4), a book club, sandbox play and tech drop-in (Wed 10:00 to 11:30 and 3 to 4), 3-D printing lessons (Thu 2 to 3), and an adult puzzle club with a floral pop-up card workshop for fourth and fifth graders (Fri 9:30 to 11 and 1 to 2).

Gov. Kim Reynolds signed a law on Friday that will require some able-bodied Medicaid recipients to meet work requirements & risk changes in their coverage.
