- ➤ Garden centers in Waterloo and Eastern Iowa are working to protect outdoor plants as frost threatens the area tonight. They are shielding vegetables, annuals, and tropical plants (which may suffer minor damage) as temperatures drop unexpectedly. KWWL
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Waterloo Public Works crews are repairing pavement at East Fourth and Mulberry Street; the project is expected to finish by May 22. The work began this week to improve local road conditions. KWWL
