- ➤ A new archdiocese plan released Saturday ends regular Masses at Queen of Peace Catholic Church as it joins a network of parishes sharing pastoral duties. The change will take effect July 14 to strengthen community ministries. Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier
- ➤ A playground will be installed in the Walnut Neighborhood park at the corner of Almond and Clay streets and is set to open in late summer or early fall. Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier
- ➤ A live raffle for a custom golf cart by Streetrods Golf Carts will occur Monday, Apr. 13 at 1 p.m. at the Dan Gable Museum downtown. Five hundred raffle tickets sell for $100 and proceeds support the museum with the winner drawn this fall on Facebook Live by Dan Gable. KWWL
