- ➤ A Rockwell man, Dustin Travis Burkhardt (36), was indicted on a federal meth charge after an indictment unsealed Tuesday in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Iowa stated he was in possession of a mixture. Globe Gazette

- ➤ Iowa lawmakers will study Gov. Kim Reynolds’ House Study Bill 327 that plans to use over $574 million in federal block grants, but mental health advocates worry that $7.8 million may not go directly to community mental health centers—adding uncertainty as the state changes its system. Other proposals would let veteran service groups receive matching funds to hire staff for VA claims and allow school districts to use district management levy money for safety needs beginning July 1.
