State lawmakers are working on a plan to address Iowa's health care shortage by adding 115 new residency spots and combining five student loan repayment programs to attract medical workers to rural areas; Gov. Kim Reynolds said the measure is a top priority and it passed the House 95-1. Some health care groups worry the new plan may leave out workers in fields such as dentistry and therapy.
