Good morning, Waterloo.

The Northeast Iowa Food Bank is launching Plates for a Purpose at local restaurants to fight hunger by giving diners materials to donate for children, families, and seniors.

Restaurants can join the program and will be recognized on social media — a move that builds local support.

LeChristopher's Southern Cuisine is serving lunch today with a menu featuring catfish fillets, salmon croquettes, fried chicken, candied sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese, black-eyed peas, collard greens, and corn bread.
