- ➤ Waterloo will host Every Chapter Counts film festival on Feb. 28 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The free event will showcase video content on The 1619 Project developed by local journalist Nikole Hannah-Jones, as local leaders lead discussions and food is available from Rodney’s Kitchen. KWWL
- ➤ The annual Tallcorn Jazz Festival will celebrate 75 years of UNI jazz with Sinfonian Dimensions in Jazz concerts on Thursday and Friday at UNI, drawing about 1,500 high school students. Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier
