- ➤ House of Hope is hosting its annual Vegas themed fundraiser on March 7 at the Waterloo Elks Club to support single mothers and women aging out of foster care + the event will include selfie stations and both silent and live auctions. KWWL
- ➤ Girl Scout Cookie Booths began Friday, Feb. 6 across eastern Iowa as troops sell cookies at local businesses, door-to-door and during community events. Residents can search by zip code or order cookies to support local projects (and donations to community heroes). KCRG

- ➤ John Deere will bring back 146 workers to its Waterloo Tractor Operations to meet increased production demand, with callbacks starting early March and continuing throughout the month. The facility, Waterloo's largest manufacturing complex, will have experienced employees supporting assembly, machining, logistics, and foundry roles. KWWL
