- ➤ Queen of Peace Parish in Waterloo received official approval from the Archdiocese to begin a $243,000 renovation funded by private donations + the parish trust and an upcoming fundraiser. Peters Construction will start planning tomorrow, with work beginning Feb. 9 and lasting about ten weeks while the building remains closed. KWWL
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ After two fatal crashes in 2024 at the intersection of U.S. Highway 61 and County B/Abing Road, WisDOT plans to install an all way stop in 2026 and begin building a roundabout in 2031 to boost safety. KCRG

- ➤ Waterloo Public Library named Robbin Degeratu its new director; her role begins March 18. The board selected her from three national candidates (she has prior leadership experience at a library system in Williamsport and holds a master’s degree in library science from UNC Chapel Hill). KWWL
